Dolly Parton continues to expand her empire with a new line of lifestyle products, featuring jewelry, home goods, fashion and accessories. The line is part of a multi-year deal the country legend signed with IMG, a talent management company owned by William Morris Endeavor.
“I am excited to be working with IMG on a global scale to give my fans products that they will cherish for years to come,” Parton said in a press release. “You might even see my mug on a mug!”
While the specific products being offered haven’t been announced yet, the line is expected to represent Parton’s beloved and iconic style.
“Dolly Parton is an international icon and we are thrilled to be working with her,” Gary Krakower, Vice President of Licensing for IMG, said in a press release. “Together, we look forward to building cohesive lifestyle brand products that will celebrate Dolly and bring her iconic style and personality to her millions of fans worldwide in engaging new ways.”
Parton’s new endeavor is the latest in a long line for the country superstar. Parton, whose current net worth is estimated at $500 million, launched her Tennessee theme park Dollywood in 1986 and expanded with Dollywood’s Splash Country in 2001. The savvy businesswoman has also been a force of nature in movies and television throughout the years. Just last year, she wrote and recorded several songs for the soundtrack to the Netflix film Dumplin’.
Parton’s eight-episode anthology series Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings will premiere on Netflix later this year. Each episode of the series will be based on one of Parton’s songs and will feature the country legend.
